Nov 13, 2013 None at 14 months. Right at the end of 14 months, mama and papa. Now at almost 16 months he has about 15 words and seems to add a new one every 23 days. I am pretty convinced that the socalled milestone of 1 word at 12 months is incorrect, or refers to a median or average. It's not the red flag it may seem to be!
